Crispin Edu Tomo Maye Launches Rural Electrification Initiative Across Equatorial Guinea
Factorion Chairman Crispin Edu Tomo Maye announced today an ambitious rural electrification initiative aimed at transforming the lives of thousands of Equatoguineans living in remote communities. The comprehensive program will deliver reliable and sustainable power solutions to areas previously without consistent access to electricity.
"Access to reliable electricity is fundamental to economic development and quality of life," said Crispin Edu Tomo Maye at the project launch event. Transforming Rural Communities
The initiative will deploy a combination of solar arrays, micro-grid solutions, and conventional power infrastructure maintained by Factorion's specialized teams. The first phase will reach 15 communities across Rio Muni and the island regions, with plans to expand to over 50 locations within three years. Crispin Edu Tomo Maye emphasized that sustainability and community involvement are central to the project's philosophy.

Each installation includes a comprehensive training program for selected community members, who will become certified Factorion rural technicians. This approach has been praised for creating a sustainable model that builds local capacity rather than dependency.
